grandma and grandpa kelly are here

the very biggest benefit to having a planned c-section
is definitely being able to plan it
and also plan to have help
we were so lucky to have michael's parents here for a week and a half
and now my parents are here

my mom brought a book her aunt gave her as a young girl
it's Aesop's fables and the kids have loved reading it with her
these girls love sitting on grandpa's lap
i love this one of both my parents with henry
eleanor is a slow warmer-upper but she's getting more and more comfortable with both sets of grandparents

in other news, i think it's safe to say henry will be a thumb-sucker like all his big sisters

How lucky your children are to have two sets of Grandparents.

He is so precious. My kids were always obsessed with the binky. Or maybe I was the one obsessed with it and pushing it on them? Whatev. He is so handsome.

I love that mom and dad are making such great memories with your little ones. Aren't they the greatest?!?! I never noticed how similar Hazel and dad look. Hmmm... Maybe they're related.

I just saw your last few posts and oh my goodness it makes me baby hungry, not just because little Henry is so darling, but the love that is so obvious in those pictures... I want that in my home! 5 beautiful kids who love each other so much. It's wonderful!

Oh French, what darling pictures! I can't believe you got the one of mom with Eleanor on her shoulders! Isn't mom the height of beauty and femininity? I love and miss her SO much! I wonder when she's going to stop dying her hair. Henry is SUCH a darling boy. He's already getting so big and alert!

That's so sweet that mom and dad have come! No hard feelings for sure, but sure could've used a little help in any one (or two...or three) of my post-partums. :)

p.s.) One of Hazie's (many) talents is posing! She's so good at smiling and making great eye contact with her big, beautiful eyes and smile. Seeing her happy makes me happy, too.
