a little update

eleanor is really experimenting with two year old behavior
lets hope it gets out of her system quickly
today she got herself several cookies despite my efforts to keep them away from her,
got into my purse and ate several pieces of gum....don't worry, she shared with olive...,
got up on the table during dinner and splattered spaghetti sauce all over hazel,
and i'm currently washing our couch cover because it's covered in marker and food courtesy of eleanor
olive is calming down a bit
she doesn't ignore everything we say anymore which is nice
and she's getting more and more independent with going potty
at parent teacher conferences last night
hazel's teacher told me that she is like the best student
she is mature, responsible, helpful and way ahead of her class in reading
by the end of kindergarten they want kids to be at a level "c" going down the alphabet
and hazel is at a "j"
she is such a great self learner
noah's teacher was also really happy with him
he's a little bit of a perfectionist so he can work kind of slowly
but she is glad she can read his work and that he's doing so well with everything
noah had a field trip to a local grocery store today and he really enjoyed it
michael was just getting over being sick
and he seems to be getting something else already
we're pretty sure it has to do with stress regarding his thesis
this morning i noticed he willingly played candyland with hazel and olive
and cuddled eleanor on the couch extra long....i think he may have been avoiding working on it
we're all excited for him to be done and graduated
