sugar cookies

the kids were dying to make sugar cookies

so we did it tonight after dinner

it turned in to family home evening 

because it took so long 

so we sang Christmas songs while we decorated them

not much of a lesson but good family time either way

 hey handsome blue eyes

and mini blue eyes

 eleanor was strapped in her high chair to not get in to everything

but she was happy with the mini chocolate chips we gave her

 cute noah with a snowman cookie

 olive kept showing me her food instead of letting me see her smile

 she thought she was so funny that it made her smile after all

 tadaaaaaa

to be honest i dread doing things like this

that are so messy and time consuming

but it was a lot of fun and it's totally worth it when i see how happy it makes everyone
