hazel's Christmas recital

hazel had her Christmas recital today

it's just during her normal class time

but the parents get to watch and they perform a routine they've worked on

specifically for today

here's a look at last year if you'd like to remember

 it was fun to watch her do her regular warm ups

she is getting so good at ballet! 

this was an extra high bar and she nailed it

 michael and eleanor watching

i was so glad michael made it (he wasn't sure if he could)

he was such a help with the kids

and eleanor was being CRAZY!

 eleanor kept yelling for hazel

so she would look over and smile

 all dressed up and ready for their dance

 olive wanted to pose for me too

 noah is showing me a new martial arts move

 eleanor sure looks cute but sheesh! she was hard to deal with today

and i love that she only has one shoe on

 doing her dance

michael took a video, i'll have to upload it later

we love watching hazel do ballet 

i might be bias, but i think she has a natural gift for it

and i hope she keeps going with it for a long time

ps. sadly olive hasn't been in dance for a few months

because it was the same day as speech and too much for her

and neither girl is currently doing tap because hazel switched to an advanced class

and there isn't a convenient tap class for her but they may be adding one in the new year
