weekend happenings

noah was a little wild as soon as he woke up on saturday morning

so when michael said he was (finally) going to mow the backyard, i suggested he take noah

i figured noah could help pick things up as michael needed

but michael let noah help by actually mowing the lawn 

i can't believe he's big enough to do it! 

i think it helped tire him out a little, too

 we also went grocery shopping saturday

and eleanor discovered olive's secret hide out

it was a very slow, painful trip once they started playing musical chairs down there

but it was pretty cute

 sunday we went to church

and then to mike and kate's for dinner

michael made brownie bites with peanut butter frosting for dessert

they were super good

we had so much fun! the kids played super well and we played some cards and had fun chatting

we didn't get home until around 10:30 because we were having so much fun

but it was well worth it!!
