snapshots of today

this morning while i was doing the dishes and waiting for my oatmeal to cool

olive said, "take my picture, mom" so i grabbed it

and here is a sample of her poses she had ready

 such a ham

 today hazel's friend claire showed up for her brothers' haircuts wearing an outfit she knows hazel has

so hazel put hers on so they could be twins while they played

the last time i cut claire's hair, she had me cut it the same length as hazel's

they are cute little twinners

 just noah and eleanor playin' legos together

tonight olive and eleanor fell asleep early

so we tried watching a "big-kid movie" with noah and hazel

we got through the first few minutes of ghostbusters fine

until hazel saw the first ghost and freaked out

honestly, i don't think i've ever even seen it because it scared me too much when i was little

poor hazel

noah on the other hand thought it was hilarious :)
we'll have to let him stay up one of these nights to finish it
