we hiked the Y

Today we finally decided to hike the Y, something we've been wanting to do it since we moved here.
We figured we should do it before it starts to get really hot outside.
It is 1.75 miles each way and an 1100 elevation gain. It was a little harder than we may have anticipated
but the kids did well. Noah went up super fast but didn't like coming down as much. The rest of us were the opposite.

It was way steeper at the top than I anticipated so we didn't stay very long. I was too nervous one of the kids would fall down.
 Pretty view, huh?

On our way down, some women behind us said we had to have a picture.
They loved Eleanor's legs dangling out.
We all wore BYU shirts in honor of climbing the Y.

Afterward we played at the new splash pad in Springville. It was so much fun!
It's starting to feel a lot like summer around here. Yay!

good job... I kept saying I'd do that SOMEtime during the five years while I was at BYU and... I NEVER did.

I love the shirt idea! The picture of your family walking from the back is great! So cute. Congrats on making it to the top!
