michael slept in a little
and then woke up to a breakfast of waffles with nutella, homemade whipped cream, bacon and hot chocolate
we like to start our days right
then we walked around an antique mall for a little while
until it was time to go to noah's school for his 1st grade talent show
he did martial arts
then we dropped hazel off at preschool
and went out to lunch with the two littlest girls
at a brazilian restaurant michael's been wanting to try
we ate so much i literally almost threw up afterward
but i was glad michael got to eat some familiar foods from his mission
just me over-eating
eleanor even slept in her carseat for most of lunch so that was nice, too
then we picked the kids up from school, went to costco
and came home for cake
(the kids ate dinner but michael and i still weren't hungry from lunch)
michael requested a chocolate cake with chocolate chips in it and chocolate frosting
the recipe on the back of the trader joes cocoa powder did not disappoint
it was pretty good
now we're waiting for one of our fave shows, psych, to start
happy 29th birthday, michael!!!

Looks like a pretty awesome 29th birthday.
I can't believe you are 29 already! Looks like you had a great birthday.
Mike
WOW!!! That's an awful lot of candles on that cake. Did you have a fire extinguisher ready in case it spread.
Love, Dad
Love all the candles!
so perfect, French! what a best wifey you are!
I love how you make birthdays and holidays special for your family. I need to be better about that.
