picking up our race packets last night
this morning week had to wake up at 4am so we could ride a bus up
and wait until the race started at 7:10
thank goodness michael's parents were here to watch the kids
it was downhill for most of the first half
and then flat for the rest which was nice
it was a little harder than each of us anticipated
and somehow each of our apps on our phones tracking us
were off and said we were a mile ahead of where we were
so that kind of threw us off but it was alright
it was really cold before it started and for the begining of the race
but then it was really nice for most of it with a nice breeze
and a little warm by the time we finished but i'm glad it wasn't any hotter
here we are almost done
noah started running ahead of us until we told him to come hold our hands
and he crossed the finish line with us
then he said, "i was way faster than you guys" :)
then he said, "i was way faster than you guys" :)
the kids were happy to see us
and our popsicles...
we did it in 2 hours and 26 minutes
we didn't walk at all and ran together the whole time
i am super proud of us
and even if it was hard
we are definitely glad we did it

You guys are amazing and so photogenic. You should have seen me after my 2 mile run this morning. Scary! Let's just say you guys look way better.
Great job both of you!!! It's so fun to accomplish a goal so physically challenging together.
...oh and I saw Michaels twin in Pullman a couple weeks ago and I triple took. I was like WHAT?!?!? no. wait WHAT? no. one more....COULD IT BE where's Rachel?!! no. He never saw me or he'd thought I was crazy.
I think you could have ran faster because looking as good as you do means you didn't try hard enough ;)! 2:26 is such an awesome time. go olsons!
