after waiting an entire month to be seen
eleanor finally had her appointment with a GI specialist today
he was really informative and thorough so i was grateful for that
he switched her to elecare an even more hypoallergenic formula
and gave the option of a colonoscopy
which we are declining for now because...that sounds awful
and she's so little that it could cause damage to her
that would need to be surgically repaired
so for now we'll try the new formula
and hope that she doesn't have any more blood in her stool
he also gave us information on which solid foods to give her
and is having us wait a week or two in between each one
michael and i are really excited to be able to give her food
we will keep the GI specialist updated
and go forth with a colonoscopy if things don't improve
yay for progress!
i guess i need to buy some baby food

She is such a sweetheart!! I hope the formula works for her...a colonoscopy doesn't sound like any fun:( And by the way, I love your hair! Now I want to grow mine out.
