three months old

eleanor turned three months old on the 4th of july

she weighs 12 lbs 7 oz

i only know that because she went to the doctor on the 3rd

because despite my avoiding milk-protein for almost 2 monts

she still has blood in her stool

so she got a blood draw to test for other allergies

but it won't necessarily show up this young

and a stool culture

the odd thing is, eleanor is the happiest baby

other than the blood in her stool, you would never guess

she has anything wrong, ever

she is not fussy or irritable

she smiles a ton, laughs easily

and is just a happy girl

the doctor mentioned me cutting soy in addition to milk-protein

i don't know what i'll do if it comes to that

eleanor is the best nurser and definitely thriving on breast milk

but it feels like cutting dairy is in vain at the moment

and i don't really want to have to cut soy also

more than anything, i just want a healthy girl

and i am so grateful to have eleanor in our lives
