eleanor has been on formula since saturday night
the amount of blood in her stool was increasing
and the last thing i want to do is hurt her
so we made the switch
it makes me super sad not to nurse her
it's just another one of those darn things i can't control
like c-sections
i hate it
i would trade eating foods with milk and soy
if it meant i could nurse her
but there isn't a sure way to know what she is allergic to
and i don't want to cause any damage to her organs
she is doing well with the nutramegin formula
other than a diaper rash
but i miss nursing

You are an amazing mom! The things we can't control are definitely the hardest to deal with, but you always do everything in your power for your kids and that is what an awesome mom does! Glad she's doing better:)
I so sorry Rachael! You did everything you could, you are amazing!
You are a wonderful Mommy. Sorry your heart is hurting. I wasn't able to nurse long with either baby and I still believe you can have those magical moments with a bottle. Hang in there... She is so precious!
Oh man. I can totally relate. I finally stopped nursing June-bug at 9 months after my doctor convinced me that maybe Emma wasn't getting enough milk. It sounds crazy but she is a totally different baby. She has been so much happier since we made the switch to formula. I can't wait to see you guys! Hope the move to Utah is a smooth one :)
Wendy had the exact same issues and ended up on that formula. Sorry :(
At least the to nurse or not to nurse part of the ordeal is over. Hopefully that helps her to get better quickly. Maybe we should turn this lemony situation into a lemonade situation and go get some ice cream?
