olive's birthday

olive had a very good birthday

she got to go to the grocery store and pick her own breakfast with michael

she chose cookie crisp and donuts :) 

then we went to playgroup at the park and out to lunch to teriyaki

 we decided last minute (yesterday) to have a birthday party for olive

with a couple of friends

 michael insisted he make olive's cake rather than buy one

he did a good job!

 while he made that, i made her pinata

it's an "O"

 i decorated with exactly what i had on hand

here are hazel and olive waiting for their friends to come

apparently i made it a little too strong 

because michael eventually had to hit it open

 olive blew out her candles! 

i didn't know if she could do it, but she did

we love our darling girl!
