as you know
the names at the top of our list
are olive and eleanor
with the middle name mae
and we cannot decide
i told michael the other day, "i like eleanor"
because i'd thought of it all day and felt like it was right
and we were settled
then the next day i couldn't help feel sad not to use olive
which i've liked since i was little
thanks to my great aunt olive
and i also love beatrice
my great grandma's name
but michael doesn't like beatrice that much
and especially doesn't like "bea"
it was so much easier when we named hazel
because i had her name picked out for like four years
and michael liked it
so i told michael he has to choose between olive and eleanor
but..knowing michael....he won't be able to
see? this is what happens when two youngest children get married
we can't decide anything!

I know you will make the right choice, don't worry! (I'm saying this because I hope I will make the right choice too...kind of like a pep talk for both of us.)
Hmmm... names are tuff! I hear even harder after the first boy and girl because they usually get your favorite name.
Maybe don't pick a for sure yet... and wait till you see her face. Or ask the kids what their sister's name will be - and give them the two choices!
Or put up a poll on your blog and see which one wins! :)
With our third child, we had to decide after the birth. I went back and forth so much it was ridiculous!
omg - not that my opinion matter when it comes to YOUR childs name ;) but i love love love Eleanor Mae!!! SOOOOO stinkin cute! She could be ellie as a kid, Elle as a gorgeous teen or yound adult and Eleanor when she settles into her career. LOVE it. Classic & strong.
Girl names are so hard for us too. We just can't agree on anything! Good luck!
You guys will be able to pick, even if it's after she's delivered and you've had a good look at her!!
we let B pick N's name from a choice of three... crazy? maybe, she wasn't even two. we asked her once a week a few month before the birth, she stuck with the same name all along. maybe you could get the two to agree on one and go with it.
I like Olive. But I think no matter what she will be cute, with a cute little name! I'm glad we're all finally getting around to being blogging buddies now too!
