what could be more fun?

today
we drove 30 minutes to Lewiston and Clarkston
(i wonder if lewis and clark had anything to do with the neighboring cities...)
we didn't have much of a plan for when we got there but
we knew there was a costco
and a wholesale beauty supply
which is more than we can say for pullman
so we headed that direction
expecting a little of this and a little of that
what we didn't anticipate was finding a storage unit garage sale
where we found this little beauty for $25

i loooooove it
and michael's working on recovering the seat right now
after our little treasure hunt
some samples from costco
and some new hair supplies
we headed home
and stopped in a little town called uniontown
where we went to all 4 antique shops
don't i have the best family?
and the coolest bakery
we shared some super yummy treats
i made michael let me take a picture of him licking his fingers
he had a sticky cinnimon roll
here's noah with his very large chocolate cookie

hazel at my feet
not minding all the other people there doting on her

this is me and hazel with my delicious chocolate petifore

doesn't that look good?

the bakery was right accross the street from this building
it is the fire station/town hall/library
isn't it adorable?

then...
as if we hadn't had enough fun today
we stopped at "the big red barn"
for a lavender festival
a hay ride
vintage goodies
(i bought a new canister set and a skirt)
a pond full of fish
and live music

it has been a wonderful day
i love my little family
and tonight we're having dinner with friends
it can't get much better than this

Ugh! I so want an awesome vintage bike. No joke - I'm on Craigslist all the time looking for one.
So what an awesome exciting find!
And mmm mmm those desserts look good!

What a fun day! It's always easier for me to enjoy my kids when I've had them strapped in their car seats and stroller all day.
