today
we went garage saling
and
thrifting
and got tons of good stuff
my favorite thing garage saled today
was this pair of $3 nine west shoes
then thrifting
we went to 2, count them 2 St. Vincent de Pauls
and at the first one i stuffed a bag for $1.59 and got this
ann taylor loft skirt that fits perfectly
and this one that was a size 24 that now fits perfectly after some altering
and this pair of puma running pants
as well as a crib bumper for noah and some other cool clothes
then at the next St. Vinnies we got the kids a new monitor for $4
brand new in the package (also pictured, do you like the combo shot?)
and since I'm showing you all my latest treasures
i made hazel this dress out of 2 long scraps of ikea as-is fabric
thanks to noah i know it'll fit her when she's his age
and last weekend i got this luggage set for $5 at a garage sale
and now the suitcases hold my fabric
last one
michael and i turned a free garage saled coffee table
it's not perfect
we're going to secure the legs better and probably repaint them a different color
this brown isn't really cutting it
we want something that will "go" but give a better contrast
any suggestions?

Either the cream or yellow to match the flowers. That's my vote. And those are some dang good deals. I wish I had your skills to turn a size 24 skirt into something that would look good on me!
You are hilarious. Thanks for hanging out with us today! It was great. Karl said that he enjoyed having Micheal to himself. With so many cousins close by, they are lucky to be able to see each other.
love the combo pic!
you up to running a bit?
size 24 to 4?! man, you're amazing!
sure could've used a great g-sale day with you!
