i'm tired

darn that waking up to pee before i was actually ready to wake up and then hearing hazel was awake and not being able to pretend i didn't

i should really get offline

or stop reading my book

and go clean up noah's books that are completely off his book shelf because we were counting them and then he decided to keep taking them off and not count because he likes to do things like that

i've had a good day

i got to have some friends over for lunch

christie who i met in 10th grade biology

she is the most hilarious person

and kelsey who i never thought i would like but totally do

in fact we have a lot in common and i never should have disliked her

it was a really nice visit

and the weather has been really nice 

so nice that this morning michael and i walked the kids to the doctor's office 

and then this evening i walked with the kids to the park

we had a good time there

until noah ran away

like really ran away

i thought he might get far enough away

quick enough

that he could get in the street

luckily he didn't quite make it

the trip ended with a swat on his bum and him crying most of the way home

he decided to stop crying and throw a rock

and then pick a couple dandelions

and it was time to go pee

outside

shorts down

on the rocks of the sidewalk

then we came home and they went to bed

well kind of

they talked to each other for nearly an hour

and hazel still isn't deeply asleep

silly kids

that's my day in a nutty nutshell

not that exciting
