eleanor's baptism

my mom made eleanor's beautiful dress and we went to the temple about a week before her 

baptism to take pictures

 grandpa kelly got here first

 we're very excited about this gift he brought

 we walked to settlers park and let the kids play

 everyone loves taking turns with his hats

 michael's parents got here and we had a before baptism dinner

 special day

 the whole gang

it was very small and private and short

but it was perfect for eleanor

 an after baptism concert by henry

he sang "i love rock and roll" and danced on these stools

he had been preparing all week making concert posters and tickets

 playing games around the table

saying goodbye to noah the next morning

we didn't see him for a solid two weeks which is the longest we've ever been away from each other

and he didn't mind the time away one bit

thank you to our parents for taking the kids home with you and taking such good care of them

it was such a fun adventure for them after being stuck home for so many months already

finally at the end of hanging dry wall

 hazel smoked me at yahtzee

 pretty sunset through our new side door

 hazel had a check up and needed a shot but she's pretty brave about them still

 saying goodbye to their teachers at an end of year parade

 if i turn on music henry loves to dance mop

 at 12 hazel's feet are officially bigger than mine

 michael and i had a couple days away for our 13th anniversary

we timed it with eleanor's baptism (which i will post next by itself)

it was so nice to reconnect and have time together in cascade

 we kayaked the river and it was exciting and fun

we went on a long drive and ended up super high in the mountain and eventually found snow

i'm not sure when i became the sort of person who suggests hiking but i did a few times

noah had already left with my dad but the girls left after we got back to spend time in washington with grandparents

we had lots of fun with the little boys while the big 4 were gone
