universal studios and kennedy space center

frozen butter beer is the best ever 

the kids were very excited for harry potter world but the rides were maybe a little more intense than anticipated

the rocket launch was cancelled the morning of our visit to kennedy space center

which was a little bummer but we were still happy we went

florida was an amazing end of summer trip

it was so special and spontaneous and i'm so happy we went

cocoa beach!!!

on our way to the beach but first we stopped for drinks

we found a perfect spot to park and had the beach to ourselves almost all day

the beach is probably one of our family's very favorite places and we can all happily spend all day playing in the water and on the sand 

i love it

he's always making my dreams come true

as soon as we got to the beach i declared this trip better than hawaii because we got disney plus the beach and everyone was happy

matching swim shorts! we bought these months and months ago 

and it was fun to finally see them wear them

i bought the girls matching suits right before our trip, too 

i love matching!

michael is the best at helping with sand castles

michael rented us a surf board!!

olive spent hours trying to get up over and over again and was successful a few times

ice cream after a long day in the sun

why not go to the pool after a long day at the beach

such a fun day! and we all slept extra well that night

first we waited in line for this new mickey and minnie ride and we all loved it

toy story land was soo cool

star wars land was also pretty awesome

turns out florida in august is pretty hot 😉 so we found shade whenever we could

the guy giving us instructions got a phone call and was distracted and didn't explain that it was important for me to be the pilot since i can drive so we let eleanor do it and it was a nightmare!

she kept crashing us and i felt like we got whiplash

not my favorite

we watched a muppet show and we all loved it

lunch!

the kids were so scared to do the big rockin' roller coaster but once they did it they were happy

eleanor and i went first without them because they were nervous but she is super brave with rides

michael and the little boys got stuck on tower of terror but they were ok with it 

especially once they got fast passes that we could use on the mickey and minnie ride one more time before the park closed

our last stop was for pretzels and churros and they gave them to us for free which was so nice

except when i spilled the cheese ALL over myself but it was ok

another great day in the books
