i tried to narrow these pictures down
but there are still definitely around 80 pictures
because we have a three week old
and i have to blog it to remember it
so here it is
you're welcome
....
home from the hospital
like 5 minutes after we got home from the hospital the doorbell rang
and we were delivered an edible arrangement
it was from our next door neighbors
SO sweet! (which reminds me i need to write thank you notes...)
the day after we got home from the hospital i had to go to the doctor
to get my staples out
so we took our first car ride as a family of 8
in case you're wondering yes, it hurt a lot to get my staples out
and no, they did not come in with me...just jude
so far jude isn't allergic to milk! hallelujah!!!
and seeing milk from my body dribble down his face
makes me incredibly happy
michael got a bad cold shortly after jude was born
(that we all eventually got) and it really wiped him out
he still managed to take wonderful care of me and did things like
bringing me breakfast in bed...so sweet
happy mama
jude doesn't get set down a lot
there are lots of people in line to hold him all the time
when he was six days old and we were home from church
i cut a few inches off my hair
probably a bad idea while taking narcotics but i don't regret it
one week old!
that's my lipstick on his face....there was definitely an adjustment period
i spent the first week after jude was born in bed
i hardly left my room
but the second week i decided i should get up and out a little more
so michael took us on little outings here and there
we went to a little farm stand for pumpkins
with the little kids
first time in the wrap
there were only a couple people there
old women
who got a little too close to my new baby
and it made me regret leaving my house
wearing the cozy outfit i made him
all decorated for halloween
hanging out in our jammy jams
reading little women
our first family outing
we ate kfc in the car because i wasn't ready to take them all to a restaurant
and went to target
and we didn't have any trouble! we're pro's

at target we let olive pick some prizes because she stopped sucking her thumb!!!!!!!!!
