hazel's first haircut

you know hazel is the most darling girl

and she rocks some pretty sweet pigtails

but her hair was just too long

so today she got her first haircut

isn't she the cutest?

the other day we drove past the pool

noah said he wanted to go swimming

i said we would soon, but not that day

so i guess he got sick of waiting and took matters into his own hands

yesterday we found him playing in a full sink of super cold water

he said, "i goin' swimming"

noah, you are hilarious!

maybe we'll go swimming today

in a real pool

going, going, gone

hazel is (finally) walking

and she is such a cute walker

but not such a good listener

she thinks she is so funny walking away

she walks where she wants and

laughs the whole time

weekend highlights

we drove to spokane

couldn't take a picture of ourselves very well

so here's brian and becky next to us

we went to a mall

then we ate at......red robin

michael, noah, and brian

then we went to target

becky and i gave the guys a break and took all the kids home with us

the kids all fell asleep on our way home

i'm happy to have some new things

and left over red robin fries to eat later tonight

a visit to my brother's house

this last weekend

we went on a little drive

to see my brother his wife and their 4 darling kids

they were so sweet and watched our kids so we could go to the temple

it was really nice

and we enjoyed spending time with their family

aren't they the cutest?

hazel's just 5 weeks older than crystal

and they're super similar

it's really fun to watch them play together

especially in matching pjs (not planned)

today while we were eating dinner

michael and i were talking about what we needed from the store

noah asked if we were going grocery shopping

we said we weren't

he said "i go grocery shopping....by myself"

we asked what he was going to get

his response wasn't very easy to understand

especially when we asked how he would get there

he said "i go five click and then i be there"

it seemed like an odd mode of transportation

but we gave permission anyway and said "....ok"

noah was so excited about the thought of going by himself to the store

until he realized a harsh reality

and said "....i can't open the door" (it's childproofed)

we all laughed
